True to your word, lens do not get very dark. But I own the misapplication. Beach VB Doubles require constant switches in fairness to the sun and shadows. For my game I rely heavily on misdirect particularly on serve to place and prefer the opponent not see my eyes, only my face toward the last place I want the ball to land. So a photochromatic in graphite might have been better. But never regret choosing REVO since 1985, best lens for commuting from central Cali with Tule Fog to the Bay Area as Mark Twain noted.

Bought these glasses a few weeks ago and have now played several rounds with them and simply love them. The fit is snug so no slippage while swinging, the view is incredibly clear and they are quite stylish!
